Sir you need to have a thorough consultation because ringing in the ear which we call tinnitus has many cause from simple causes like wax to complex issues like neoplasm of the auditory nerve.

Were you exposed to Loud Noises? Is It Associated with vertigo, hearing loss? One side or both side?! This needs a detailed evaluation.Hearing tests, CNS examination etc.Pls Consult in person.
Tinnitus can be due to various reasons which includes :-
age-related hearing loss.
inner ear damage caused by repeated exposure to loud noises.
an earwax build-up.
a middle ear infection.
Ménière's disease – a condition that also causes hearing loss and vertigo (a spinning sensation)
