The treatment for fungal infection is simple. You have to take anti fungal tablets and creams for few weeks following which it resolves. Do not apply soap on that area and do not self treat with over the counter steroid creams. Fluconazole and terbinafine do not work most of the times. Mistreatment with creams and self treatment with cheaper medicine is the most common reason for recurrent disease. Kindly send photos for accurate diagnosis or visit a dermatologist. One more important chase of recurrence is family members having the same condition due to which isn't spreads from one to another. Get everyone treated at the same time.
