Right tibial intramedullary nailing
20 days back I had a surgery of right tibial intramedullary nailing surgery. How many days it takes to recover and , can I run as before after removal of rod Please let me know, I'm a runner

Good morning sir Well it’s good 20 days post surgery so suture removal and pain part of treatment is over Now the assessment of union is done at 4th And 6th week via x rays If required dynamisation is done to accelerate healing In general the implant removal is done 2 yrs post first surgery for lower limbs But yes you can run after the the union of the fracture with the implant inside and also after 6 weeks post implant removal surgery
