[ ] Hi, right side of abdominal discomfort generally happens due to problem in liver/ gall stone or gastritis and rarely due to infection in right part of colon .Other causes of lower right pain abdomen are appendicitis and right uretric stone colic. Kindly get a ultrasound of abdomen to rule out liver and biliary cause. Take light food for few days. Feel free to ask any further quary related to your problem. Regards.

For any post surgical pain, I would strongly advise you to visit once the surgeon who has operated on you. Mild pain at surgical site may be attributed to wound healing, but in case of severe or persistent pain, you need a clinical evaluation, after which your doctor may advise further investigations like blood tests or an ultrasound
Next Steps
Visit the surgeon who operated you, or another general and laparoscopic surgeon
