Nerve catching is a diagnosis of exclusion..meaning there by that more common causes of such symptoms as pain going down into Arm , cramps numbness must be ruled out before we can say its nerve catching...consult a neuro specialist for any nerve compression..and a physician  for any dietary deficinecy of vitamins and minerals which could also lead to cramps
