Hello doctor , I was previously completed rabies ID vaccine in July end 2025. In October took booster dose for new exposure. Again in new exposure in November took erig with ongoing complete vaccination and will complete on 1dec 2025 and Does my antibody level and titer will drop down. As took ERIG does it suppress the existing antibodies?? I am very depressed and tensed. Please help doctor. Please reply.

Immunoglobulin should give with in 7 day only for cat 3. In small wounds only vaccine is enough bcz vaccine virus incubatation is short and create early immunity. 1-2 yrs this immunity will present. In your case no need of immunoglobulin,as you have enough antibodies.Booster dose immediately will increase antibodies. As such no suppression. If deep wounds virus will attack nerve effectively , you need readymade Rig. …No need worry.

You are safe. You did the right treatment. Your antibodies will NOT drop. ERIG does NOT cancel your vaccine immunity. Your protection right now is extremely strong.
