pain in back refering to your ribs can be caused by simple muscle catch,or by injury of your back bone. whatever may be cause if it is repititive,it may be deep seated problem associated with your physical work stress . physiotherapy will help relieve your pain if it is muscular or joint sprain at the rib and spine junction. if pain not relieved after 3 sitting get an xray or scan by consulting a specialist physiotherapist.

One reason may be gas accumulation which may reduce by some antacids.. Second may be coz of locks in the vertebral joints or any trigger point around ur thoracic ribs. Give some hot fomentation.. Try visiting a physio who may help you release locjz of trigger points if any.
