Retinal detachment
I had by buckle surgery on 16th august which is a successful one in my right eye. My VA is also 6/6 P in the operated eye. I just gone to the surgeon today who checked my eyes and concluded there is superior lattice in the LE( prior had holes which were sealed ) . Also sometimes i see lights when i close my eyes. my ques is 1. is it normal because i had my eyes checked my two different dr also can i play sports like badminton etc??? is it advisable...

Hello If there is history of retinal surgery in one eye, there is risk for RD in other eye. I would recommend you to get barrage laser for lattice degeneration of other eye You can live normal life but avoid heavy work

a patient with  history of retinal detachment surgery  can lead  normal life but should avoid  jumping and any  strenuous work.
