Retinal detachment
I am experiencing flickering of lights like that of a tube light and it makes me confused whether the light is flickering or is it my eyes ..I had visited an opthalmologist a week ago and he checked my retina through the opthalmoscope and  all other tests nd said that my eyes are healthy and occasionally I  see floaters as well so I was worried whether it could be retinal detachment or not and and I had visited the opthamologist a week ago but that time I did not experienced this flickering of light can it happen a week later ..when I visited the ophthalmologist last week this problem was not there and it happened 2 to 3 days after I visited that the doctor so could it be retinal detachment and I don't see flashes of light it is almost like flickering of a light bulb.. and floaters are only visible in a light background

Though the rd may take place anytime but it's  not only flickering of light but also associated with marked diminution or loss of vision. However if you are too worried  ,You may consult a retina specialist.
