Hello.
It is normal for a 7 month old child to have an erratic schedule for sleep. Reduce the hours of sleep during daytime and ensure that he consumes food at will.
Reasons to be sleepless could be aplenty, but if the child is playful and taking meals aptly, you need not worry.

Reduce day time sleep, so he will sleep better at night.
Next Steps
Give a heavy food (rice with dhal) at 5-6 pm and light tiffin in the night. Switch off mobile and television or other thing that distract him. Initially he will have difficulty in sleeping but after couple of weeks his routine will be normalised .
