Requirement of eye glass for +0.75 visio
Today I did my eye test at lenskart store. As per test results, I have +0.75 vision alongside -1.25 vision in both of my eyes. At present I am wearing only -1.25 vision specs. Should I need to make specs for +0.75 vision too ?. What is your opinion about progressive lenses. Thanks.

At this point, you can make do with only distance glasses. Do not wear any glasses for near..not even the distance ones meaning -1.25

Please share the prescriptions of glasses. From your version it's not clear whether the number is spherical or cylindrical. At the age of 40 ,one have to start using presbyopic specs. Though, myopics may postpone the need for some time by withdrawing distance specs, while doing near work.

Hi! So the -1.25Ds that you are currently using, are for far distance. While the testing has revealed that adding +0.75Ds for near work, will improve the quality of your near vision. So if the testing is done correctly, yes you may need an "Addition" of +0.75Ds for near work. Progressive lenses are a very good option, especially for those who have near, far as well as intermediate(eg. computer screens) work. They take about 10-15 days to get used to. Thank you.
Next Steps
Get proper eye testing done with any optometrist/ophthalmologist.
