Yes sputum is positive for tuberculosis next step is send sputum for gene xpert to confirm drug sensitive or drug resistance tuberculosis kindly attach chest xray film

Yes your sputum is positive for pulmonary tb.. you will have to be started on anti Tb regimen.. for that please consult a nearby pulmonologist/DOTS centre.. they will get you tested for sputum gene expert (CBNAAT) and imaging like chest xray or ct scan

Yes. But nowadays we will send sputum for CBNAAT which is confirmatory. And need to do chest x ray. Better consult a Pulmonologist. Need to start treatment after seeing your chest x ray and CBNAAT.
