Reoccurring UTI
Hi , my father is getting reoccurring util from last 8 months he got 4 times UTI, we have gone for all tests like CTKUB, ultrasound, PVR and given treatment with antibiotics for couple of days till in antibiotics course infection will cure once we stop antibiotics infection reoccurring.
In PVR test 25ml urine left.
Ultrasound sound shows no abnormalities found prostate is 22cm and bladder distnded both kidneys are fine.
Please suggest why UTI reoccurring and also dr suggested for TUPRP is it helps to cure the UTI permanent.

Is he a diabetic? Sometimes prostate gland may be harbouring the bacteria. If all reports are normal, may require TURP to clear the infection source
