Hello doctor, my daughter suffered from fever for past two days..pediatrician gave meftal p syrup.. Yesterday night 9 o clock I gave First dose...today early mrng 5 o clock Second dose..after 10 hrs she again suffer from 103 F.. Again gave next dose at 3 o clock..if fever will come again means.. Can again I give meftal...is there any problem..when it subside...im worried..pls answer me...

It would be advisable to use paracetamol (Calpol, Crocin, P250, etc) as the primary medicine for fever. Use it every 6 hours. Meftal is better avoided in children. Do a direct consultation for further advice.
