Hello ,
With your question I can for now understand that you have a tongue-tie ( condition where the tongue muscle is short and attached close to the floor ) , it can be easily corrected with a minor procedure under local anesthesia with a recovery period of couple of days jus like any tooth extraction procedure
I say you go ahead for a consult with an oral surgeon
It's a routine procedure so u need not worry
After the procedure your sounds and speech will be much better as your tongue will be free of the attachment to the floor
