Yes. A cycle is counted from the first day of 1 period to the first day of the next period. Your period started at 6 PM then 6 PM of next day will complete you 1 period day and start the next period day.

Your menstrual cycle can span from anywhere in between 26 to 32 days of a month that is counted from the first day of your menstrual flow. Your second period day will only start post 24 hours of your initiation of menstrual flow. Your menstrual cycle ends right before your menstrual flow begins. I recommend you to download any app that helps you track your menstrual cycle for exact determination of days and cycle.
