I WAS A SMOKER FOR 9YRS,I HAD VISITED AN ENT DOC SAID THERE WAS A SWELLING IN VOCAL CORDS I FEEL MY VOICE IS HOARSE OR RASPY HE CONCLUDED IT COULD BE BECAUSE OF GERD AND GAVE ME MEDS BUT ITS BEEN TWO WEEKS NO CHANGE IN VOICE .WHENEVER I GO FOR INTENSIVE RUNNING AFTER A WHILE I FEEL SHORT OF BREATH DRY THROAT AIR LEAKING IN MY EOSPHAGUS BUT MY VOICE COMES TO NORMAL FOR A SHORT TIME.I HAVE TO FIGHT A LOT TO KEEP IT STABLE .I TOLD MY CONDITION TO DOC OVER PHONE SAID IT COULD BE REinke edema I AM CONCERNED ABOUT TREATMENT OF THIS DISEASE PLEASE ADVICE ME A GOOD DIAGNOSTIC PATH.
