My father aged 61 years. He's having high sugar 9.7. Can he put covid vaccine? Will it create any pblm? Which vaccine should he put?? Covishield or covaxin??

Having uncontrolled diabetes puts him at risk for having covid . Hence it is recommended that he get vaccine ASAP. Either covaxine or covishied will be okay, latter has lesser side effects. His diabetes control also needs to be improved.
