Regarding tablet
Hello doctor. My age is 65 years old male diabetic from 6 years taking gluconorm g 1 & Aten 50 tablet s . I don't take any outside food, no addictions , no painkillers, diagnosed with antral gastritis second time in 2 years. I came to know that metformin is gastric irritant . So please prescribe some other tablet for diabeties. Please answer. My diabetic level is 228 after food.

Metformin 500mg less likely to cause issue...may try plin..will need additional drug in that case... because sugars would be high as now they are
