Blood vomit in old age (diabetic woman)
Hello doctor, My Grandma she is around 75+, she is a diabetic patient and is under medications since years. Recently her sugar levels got down and suffered blood vomiting ,resulting a terrible weakness. She couldn't get up for a long time and faced loss of appetite, fatigue. She often had trouble with this low sugar levels that make her inactive but was able to recover with little intake of sugar. Recently these blood vomiting and loss of appetite which are extra symptoms from routine. What caused this? Is it some other disease? Do we need to take her for some tests?
