Regarding scratch by pup & vaccination
Nearly 2 months ago, a street pup in my street kind of scratched my finger in enthusiasm while playing with me and little blood came. But it healed within 2 days. I had consulted a local physician & since it was not a severe bite, I was administrated with a TT. Before getting the wound dressed at clinic I had cleaned it several times with soap, detol and water. Puppy got some infection around it's eye and it got infected a lot and it was like this for few weeks and 3 days back the puppy died. Prior to this, we had not noticed any visible symptoms of Rabies in it. Should I be considering about taking an Anti - Rabies vaccine ? It is been nearly 2 months since this [precisely Mar 10th the incident had happened ]. Attached the photo of scratch. [ But in real the wound was not this much visible ] Kindly guide me in this regard, I am a little worried.

Taking Anti rabies vaccine now is of no use. Your physician should have given you at the time of exposure only. No use of worrying now.
