Regarding progestron in 2nd and 3rd trim
Hi doctor,
I am now in 6 th months of pregnancy, Since i have short cervix i have been recommended to take progesterone tablet from beginning of pregancy.Now in recent scan it's 30 mm but doctor still asked to continue the tablet...is it ok totake progesterone (Naturogest sr 300) throughout my pregnancy?
I ret that we should not be taking in second and third trimester.please calrifiy

Congratulations for ur pregnancy.
Progesterone is essential hormones for pregnancy and it also help to relax ur uterus contraction so no pre term contraction occure.
So don't worry about it.
Just follow ur gynecologist advise.
