Dear Sir, I am 36 year old, I have been taking medicine encorate chrno 500 last 6 years due to my epilepsy problem. I am married and planning for a baby. My question is that whether it will affect to my fertility or it will affect the sperm count? Please help regarding this.

Encorate is a sodium valproate . Nausea, vomiting and diarrhea are the most common side effects. In addition, hair loss with curly regrowth can occur. Ankle edema and obesity can be troublesome side effects.
It shouldn't be used in patients with liver dysfunction,Allergy ,blood disorder . It will not affect fertility of a person ,don't worry
