Hello doctor.
I read in Google that increase cytokines cause heart damage and heart attack
.is it true??what is cytokines??who will get?? Is there any test to find out how much in our blood..if our heart is healthy is there chance cytokines is more?? Is fear increase this cytokines?? I always worried about my heart..so I keep taking ecg.echo.tmt. all normal.first time I heard about cytokines.. kindly clarify my doubts.. thanks in advance

Cytokines are elevated in patients with inflammation due to variety of causes. No need to do cytokines as routine Cardiac evaluation. ECG, Echo and TMT are fine.
