Regarding baby formula milk
Hello doctor, my baby is 1 month old. Right now she is taking emfamil stage 1 formula as well as breast feed. But she is extremely gassy and also has a problem burping. Sometimes she doesn't burp or takes lot of time in burping..and it feels as of she is very uncomfortable till she burps. She burp a lot also Is it possible that the formula does not suits her. Can you please recommend anyother formula milk. i gave nanpro to my elder one.

You can try Nanpro 1 by nestle. Please be sure of concentration (to add 1 scoop in 30 ml water). Ensure breastfeeding in milk for proper milk production. Proper burping can take 10 mins. Be firm while patting. You can search youtube for newborn burping techniques.

Hello, good evening excessive gas can occur in formula fed babies through bottle. They swallow a lot of air when they are taking milk so make sure to burp them for atleast 15 minutes post feed.If you want to change the formula you can switch to Nan pro stage 1 also.In case if you are feeding through feeding bottle make sure that bottle sterilization is proper and there are different kinds of bottles which will prevent entry of exessive air (Avent anticolic bottles). But remember always mother milk is best for the baby. You can try galactogogues to increase milk output. For any queries contact me.
