Redness on cheeks after using erythego

Asked for Male, 20 Years

I used erythego gel for the first time as said by my doctor. For few hours redness was not present but after that when i washed my face few minutes later i started feeling a burning sensation on my cheeks and it was red. What is it about? What to do? And on what duration we have to use this gel? Please reply
