Redness in one eye
After 25 days of being tested negative for covid.my mother is having one eye reddish.can this be a symptom of black fungus or conjustivitis? No other problem is there.its just the redness in eye and little iching from past 5 days.

Your mother age,diabetes,steroid use . other symptoms like pain ,fever and nasal examination are important to rule out black fungus.Presentation doesnot seem like it

It can be allergic , but if she is feeling pain in her affected eye , swelling in and around eye , difficulty in eye movement , facial pain , swelling and discomfort then the black fungus should be ruled out . Otherwise it can be allergic .
