Red around rectal opening

The area around my rectal opening is reddish in colour and I feel itching sensation there all the time.........what is it......what to do now.......I am a bit scared.....please suggest me..................and why is it so............. Is there any critical and serious problem.......

may be there is excoriation of skin due to inflammation of the skin surrounding anal region or proctitis...pinworm infection maintain a proper healthy diet by adding more roughage like green leafy veg raddish carrot etc.... maintain personal hygiene....cleanse thoroughly around the anal region while u take bath.... drink more water.... consult surgeon....
