Recurring swelling in knees
My friend has swelling in her knees. It started around 3 years back and comes and goes back on its own. The area around the knee becomes painful, stiff and hard to touch. Upon standing up after sitting for a while, it feels like the legs aren't just supporting the weight of the body for 4-5 seconds. Mobility has been badly hampered. She has consulted 2-3 doctors before but none of them could diagnose the problem. There were some vitamin deficiencies which were taken care of and also the relevant tests for Rheumatoid Arthritis were negative. Could anyone help us as to where and whom shall we see to get a solution. Thanks ( She has irregular cycles and a benign lump in her left breast as well.)
