My father age 48 male is known case of squamous cell carcinoma recurrence in left bm we are giving him morphine painkiller 5mg 2 times in a day now he having constipation problem he constipated for more than 4 days should I give him laxative to prevent constipation?

Yes, you may give him laxatives to prevent constipation. I would also request you to share the CT scan report if done recently. Why are we not thinking curatively?
