Recurrence chance of hidgekin lymphoma
11years back i was treated for hodgekin lymphoma with ABVD dose. After 1year of treatment i got cure.. my usg pet ct scan was normal. I was 3year checkup. All was good.
My query is that what is the percentage of recurrence of thst diseas as it is impacting for my marriage. No one is confident on that. Please clarify

The chances of cure depend upon the initial stage of the hodgkin lymphoma.
After 10 years of the successful treatment, there is about 3-7 % chance of the recurrence (but even recurrence can be treated again and curable in >50% among those).
There is also a risk of other longterm side effects of the treatment and secondary malignancies. These depend upon the treatment received.
Generally it is not significant in >90% of the survivors.
You should be quite hopeful as you have already completed 11 years of cure..
Marriage is a different decision to be taken by the couple..
