Rectal prolapse
I have full thickness rectal prolapse but it only comes out while straining. It does not comes while coughing. I have my medicals in which they will ask me to bend down, cough and they will see my anal region with torch. Can anyone gets an idea that i have rectal prolapse without knowing my history or by just looking at anus with torch and asking me to cough?

Coughing can give a fair idea but ideally one should be asked to squat and then strain
Next Steps
Defecography is a test which can give an accurate idea about the type and severity of the prolapse. But it's not available in many centers.
