Rectal pelvis dilation app. 4mm in fetus
Recently two days back I underwent anomaly scan level 2 in my 19th week. In the report it was found that "Mild prominence of fetal renal pelvis is seen bilaterally measuring approx 4mm in AP diameter on either side. Both kidneys are otherwise grossly normal". Kindly suggest is there any risk to baby after birth? Or is this condition not good for fetus development?

Don't worry 1st. It's manageable. We only need to follow up with frequent scans to find if the dialation gets increasing and the amniotic fluid index going down and plan delivery. Pushing your pregnancy till 37 weeks is out Target and the baby will be absolutely fine and we need to rule out outlet obstructions if any as well.
