Hello, I understand your concern. After your surgery, recovery mainly depends on proper diet, lifestyle, and wound care.
Next Steps
Take a soft, high-fiber diet to avoid constipation and straining. Drink plenty of warm water throughout the day. Fruits: you can eat papaya, banana, apple, pears, watermelon, pomegranate, orange, guava etc. Avoid very spicy or deep-fried foods. Include vegetables, salads, whole grains, oats, dal, soups. Limit red meat, junk food, alcohol, excess tea coffee. Usually 2–3 days of rest at home is enough, but you can start light activity as soon as comfortable. Complete wound healing takes about 2–3 weeks. You may ride a bike after about 3–4 weeks, once pain subsides and wound heals. Avoid straining during passing stool. Avoid prolonged sitting on hard surfaces. Avoid lifting heavy weights for at least 3–4 weeks. Do warm water sitz baths 2–3 times daily for pain relief and faster healing. Take medicines like painkillers, stool softeners regularly. Follow up with your surgeon as scheduled.
Health Tips
If you develop severe pain, bleeding, fever, or difficulty passing urine or stool, consult your doctor immediately.

For the first few days of surgery avoid fried fatty food. Consume more fibres. If you have constipation then take some laxatives for a week or so. There's no restriction on diet per say. Its better to have a balanced diet with all nutrients and dietary fibres. Consume 2-3L water daily. About bed rest, you don't need any. After the surgery once the effect of anesthesia goes you can resume your normal activities. Riding bike will be a bit painful for first few days post surgery. Within a couple of days pain should settle, then you can resume with you bike.
