Rathke cyst detected
I'm suffering from severe headaches from many years, recently the headaches have gone bad to worse, my doctor consulted me to get an MRI done, after doing the MRI a Rathke cyst was observed which measured 0.5 cm in height , the doctor didn't advice me anything on that and neither gave me medicine I wanted to know how harmful is this Rathke cyst.. i have attached my report as well in this

Hi there I understand your concern and anxiety...nothing much to worry for incidental finding of rathke cleft cyst...it can be left like that without intervention if it's not bothering you... If it's growing in size and compressing structures surrounding that then intervention is necessary....there are no medicines to cure it only way is surgery... Consult nearest neurosurgeon he will guide you further.
