Rat bitten left leg above ankle
Hi Sir/Madam,
Yesterday around 2.30 pm afternoon, my son told a rat had bitten to his left leg (above ankle). Blood started coming ..so I washed properly ,but didn't apply any cream. Consulted the pediatrician, he suggested nothing is required. If worried , we can go for rabies vaccine . Since my son is 3 and half years old,so didn't give TT injection. Kindly suggest what should we do.

Indian rats don't cause rabies. And if child is fully immunised till date then TT is also not required.
