Rat Bite - Rabies injection required?
Is Rabies injection required after Rat Bite? Friday night i felt something bite in my toe finger and I am assuming it was Rat as nothing could be seen after I switched on the light. When i pressed the bite area blood came out from 2 tiny pores and I tried taking maximum blood out. Right now there is no pores seen and the area looks clean. I have taken Tetnus shot in June 2021. Please suggest if anything else needs to be done. Q.1- Is Rabies injection required? Q.2- As I have taken Tetnus injection in June 2021, is that required again? Q.3- Now it has been around 38 hours, which injections can i take now?
