Rash at base of scalp

Asked for Female, 25 Years

I have a small-ish rash at the base of my scalp, which I've had for a few months. It's itchy intermittently, not a constant itch. It otherwise doesn't hurt. I haven't changed my diet, shampoo, or routine. It's not perfectly round, more oblong, like a diamond, almost. Any ideas what it might be?
