My son is rapidly blinking his eyes. He does it for a few seconds every once in a while. There is no redness and he is not rubbing his eyes. Just blinking rapidly.

Can be a behavioral issues called tics...
Will subside a he grow up... Avoid too much mobile, make him frequently wash eyes...
Try to distract him if he is doing continuously

Does he do it while watching or after watching any screen? Also is he aware of what he does and if prompted can he stop?
The commonest reason for rapid blinking is dry eyes which occur due to watching screens.
