Random period like bleeding not at right
I’ve been sick for the past week and today I woke up and my “period” started but it was just a lot of blood the second I work up. I do take birth control and I have done a horrible job consistently taking it this pas week. Is the birth control causing it? And if so how long will I bleed (estimate) a day a full period cycle?

Usually heavy bleeding is not due to birth control pills.. However it could be because of exertion that u had.. Or if u hv bn noncompliant with birth control pills it could be a failure rarely.. I suggest you do a urine pregnancy test to rule out any pregnancy.. Other causes cn be hormonal issues like thyroid disorders, Pcos , fibroids , polyps, ovarian cysts etc
