Random eye redness

Asked for Female, 20 Years

My right eye keeps becoming red for some reason, every few days. When it's red, there's some amount of discharge and blurry vision. I keep washing it with water on such days, then go to sleep at night, and next morning it's gone. But this keeps happening every few days. I've stopped applying kajal so that does not seem to be the issue. What can I do?
