My wife is undergoing parotid gland radiation.
For a long time she has been taking ayurvedic medicine for fissures for the past two years after her delivery.
She can have ayurvedic medicine while taking her radiation? .kindly help me on this .

Can’t comment without knowing what is the content of Ayurveda medicine .
Generally , we prefer to avoid giving anti oxidants to patients during radiotherapy .
Also patient have chance of having small ulcers in mouth during radiation , which is normal reaction to radiotherapy , at that time taking herbal medication may be difficult . Interrupting radiotherapy treatment for any reason should be avoided as much as possible .
