Radiologist / pulmonologist for x ray
Recently I did medical exam to go Kuwait. They found small speck of calcification near right hilum on chest x ray and declared as unfit. Outside medical centre says chest x-ray was normal and CT scan also suggest no calcification seen in lung field. Two time I did x-ray outside and there is no calcification in chest x-ray. What is the reason behind on and what causes for calcification if present?

Hello.... Usually  no one straight away reject  candidate on the basis  of x ray.. They  temporarily reject and you can reapply  with CT scan  ,this scan  gives better resolution..  Ask to review  decision  with CT scan  report.. It could  be artifact.... If you had previous tuberculosis  there is chance  of calcification.
