Rabies virus dormant and titre level
Hello Doctor,
Please read my query carefully.
I have fully vaccinated ID on July 2025.
Then took ID booster on new exposure on Oct 2025.
Then took ERIG with ID complete vaccine on Nov 2025 and last vaccine is on 1st dec 2025.
I test my antibody titre on 25th nov which come value 3.7.
My question is why its too low ? Does i need booster after completion of last vaccination?
Also am I completely safe ?
And does the virus will be in dormant and once the titre level will drop below to .5 then the virus will active ? I mean the existing exposure virus still can be infected in future if titre value drop down.
Please answer my queries!!
