My son 2 year 9 month, is properly immunised as per chart. He is recently licked by bat... Is it safe to go for rabies vaccine, is it safe to give vaccine to children. Is there any side effects

Immunisation doesn’t cover for rabies. Rabies vaccine is safe. If it is only lick on intact skin( not on wound) , then you needn’t worry about rabies.

It's usually safe to get vaccine than to take risk.. As such vaccine has very less side effects..
