Rabies vaccine
I was bitten by a rat some years ago...tho all doctors have told me that nothing will happen though I'm still a little tensed so can i take anti rabies vaccine...if yes will it cause any harm? Also if I miss a dose amidst taking it will that pose any threat ...? Also if yes will a doctor vaccinate me considering rat bite as no major threat to rabies?

Hello rabies never happens with rat bite so it’s useless to take rabies vaccine. Rabies is a infection of dogs moneys and wild animals. Rats spread plaque and rat fever . Since rat had bitten long ago there is no need to panic or tense. Enjoy nothing will happen
