RABIES VACCINE
I am so thankful that many of you answered my previous question regarding rabies vaccine but still I want to clear something.
Most of you have suggested me not to go for vaccination on re exposure, some suggested me to take 2 booster doses only.
But I went to my near by hospital and my physician told me that I need to restart my vaccination series again because in previous vaccination course I delay my 4th dose. [My previous course-3 doses in September23,26,30 (2024)and 4th dose on November15,2024]. Now I am in a big confusion, till today's date I took 2 doses on day 0 and day 3.
Please clear out my confusion should I go for the remaining doses on day 7and 21. In 2023 I took the complete course of vaccination. And I heard that if someone have already fully vaccinated before they need only booster dose on re exposure because the rabies vaccine give protection upto 1-2 years.
PLEASE HELP ME AND GIVE YOUR BEST SUGGESTIONS.
