Query related to rabies
Hi...I have query regarding rabies. A street dog licked my foot today. After 2 hrs I washed my feet under the running tap. Again after 2 hrs I washed my feet under running tap. Then after 1 hour of my last wash my son while playing licked my feet just for a second or so...i.e after almost 5 hrs of dog licking my feet. Is there chance that my son may be affected by virus?

Licking on intact skin without any scratches doesn't need any prophylactic vaccination. No chances of getting infection to you or your son. Dog bite, which is unprovoked, with bites and scratches needs medical care.
