QUERY REGARDING HIV
I was vaccinated by a contaminated needle on 19th October 2020. I went for a 4th generation HIV combo test after 70 days of exposure i.e. on the 71st day. The name of the test was HIV 1/2 antibody and p24 combo test. The result came out to be negative with index value 0.11. I have heard on YouTube by various doctors that the 4th generation combo test can detect HIV successfully after 6 weeks of exposure. Is it true ? I want to ask the doctors that does the 4th generation test after 70 days of exposure give a conclusive result ? What is the window period for the 4th generation combo test ? Report attached. Please reply in detail.
