Can antibiotic Cefdinir cause maroon stools ?
I once had Cefdinir and it caused my stool to turn maroon with red blood tinge to it. I gave the same sample to the lab for testing of Stool R/M and occult blood which came out to be negative.
So can it happen ?
Have you witnessed such cases where patients complain the same after consumption of above named drug ?

Yes. There are some cases reported in literature of such stool colour.
It becomes normal on stopping the Medicine.
